Community Youth Programme Manager
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week
Salary: £33,000 – £35,000

We are looking for a dynamic and committed Community Youth Programme Manager to help shape and deliver our developing youth programme. This new role supports partnership work with trusted education and youth work partners, Wyvern St Edmunds Academy and Young Swindon and Wiltshire.

Education Resources Assistant
Part time, 20 hours a week spread over Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Fixed term 3 months contract
Salary: Hourly rate £12.60

Marketing Intern
Full time, 35 hours a week Monday to Friday
Fully site based, 2-3 month contract for June, July and August 2026

The Marketing and Communications team at Salisbury Cathedral plays a crucial role in sharing the Cathedral’s vision and mission. We work to promote the Cathedral as a place of worship and share its unique history, attracting new visitors and supporting income generation through events and tourism.
This summer internship provides an exciting opportunity to support the Marketing and Communications team while gaining hands-on experience in marketing, with a particular focus on digital marketing and content creation. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone looking to develop skills in marketing, communications, and media.

Welcome Desk & Box Office Assistant

We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and experienced Welcome Desk and Box Office team. We’re looking for additional support to help us provide a consistently warm, open, and memorable welcome to everyone who walks through our doors.
We are offering part‑time shifts of 4.5 hours across weekdays and weekends, with occasional evening work to support events. This position will begin on a 6 month fixed‑term basis, and specific working hours will be discussed during the interview.

Chapter House Welcomer

There will also be opportunities to cover sickness and holiday, and flexibility to do so is essential. This role is offered on a fixed‑term contract from the beginning of June 2026 to the end of January 2027.

Safeguarding Officer
Part-time, 14 hours a week, permanent.
Salary: c.£15,000 per annum.

Salisbury Cathedral is seeking a Cathedral Safeguarding Officer to join our team. This new role is central to strengthening and sustaining a healthy safeguarding culture across our community, offering both a visible presence on site and a clear point of contact for all safeguarding matters.
Working closely with the Chapter Clerk (Chief Operating Officer), the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer will help lead, promote, manage and embed best safeguarding practice in line with the Church of England’s safeguarding policy and guidance.
We are looking for someone who can be site-based for 14 hours per week, ideally spread across three days.
